Lip Blush, Eyebrows, Saline Removal

Lip Blush is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing technique used to define the lip shape, add color to pale or uneven lips, and create a more youthful appearance.

The goal of lip blush is to achieve a natural, subtle tinted effect rather than the bold look of traditional lipstick.

Clients can choose from a variety of shades to match their desired lip color. The color can also be customized to suit individual preferences. Then a trained technician uses a tattoo machine with a fine needle to deposit the pigment into the lips. The procedure typically takes around 1-2 hours.

After the procedure, the lips may appear swollen and the color more intense. Over the next few days, the color will fade to its final shade as the lips heal.

The longevity of lip blush varies from person to person. On average, it can last between 1 to 3 years. Factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and exposure to the sun can affect how long the pigment remains vibrant.

Saline Tattoo Removal is a method used to partially or completely remove unwanted tattoos or microblading pigment from the skin. Unlike traditional laser tattoo removal, which uses lasers to break down tattoo ink, saline removal involves the use of a saline (saltwater) solution to lift and lighten the pigment.

A specialized saline solution is prepared by mixing sterile saline (saltwater) with a small amount of pigment-lightening or pigment-extracting solution. This creates a hypertonic saline solution.

The saline solution is then tattooed into the unwanted area using a tattoo machine or manual tool, similar to the way the original tattoo or microblading was applied.

The hypertonic saline solution works through a process called osmosis. It draws pigment or ink particles out of the skin and to the surface. Over time, the body’s natural healing process will push the lifted pigment out of the skin.

Complete removal usually requires multiple sessions, depending on the size, color, and depth of the original tattoo or pigment. Sessions are typically spaced several weeks apart to allow the skin to heal.

Proper aftercare, including keeping the treated area clean and avoiding sun exposure, is essential to promote healing and minimize the risk of scarring.

Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing technique used to enhance the appearance of eyebrows mimicking the appearance of fine brow hairs. It can also be used alongside Ombre/Powder Brow techniques to create a more natural effect, also known as Combo/Hybrid Brows.

Our trained and certified PMU technicians start off every appointment working closely with the client to choose the right color, shape, and thickness of the eyebrows, tailoring the results to individual preferences. Once the client has approved of the eyebrow shape, our brow tech will begin using a hand-held tool with a set of fine needles to deposit pigment into the epidermis (upper layer of skin) in the shape of natural-looking eyebrow hairs.

All of these eyebrow applications can last anywhere between 1-4 years. Although it is recommended to come back for a touch up 1-2 times a year for longer lasting results.
